Dustin is an experienced DUI trial lawyer who is willing to litigate all aspects of your case in a professional and efficient manner be it a motion, bench trial, or even a jury trial. Dustin has more than a decade of experience litigating DUI’s in Illinois. Dustin has vast experience protecting your driving privileges by litigating Statutory Summary Suspension hearings as well. Dustin was recently selected to the Top 100 Trial Lawyers and is a member of the Federal Trial Bar for the Northern District of Illinois. Michael Gruszeczki

Mike attended DePaul University College of Law where he distinguished himself as a Dean’s List law student. He was honored for his academic achievements, graduating in the top of his class from DePaul in 2007. During law school, Mike also worked as a law clerk at the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office and for two different civil litigation law firms in Chicago.
After graduating from DePaul University, Mike practiced criminal and family law as an Assistant State’s Attorney for the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office before co-founding Gruszeczki & Smith Law, LLP with Dustin Smith. During Mike’s tenure as an Assistant State’s Attorney, he has prosecuted thousands of felony and misdemeanor cases and handled hundreds of civil hearings for child support and parentage. Specifically, Mike has prosecuted felony drug cases ranging from possession of a controlled substance, to delivery of a controlled substance, to criminal drug conspiracy.
Along with the prosecution of narcotics cases, he has prosecuted felony gun charges ranging from unlawful use of a weapon to armed habitual criminal charges. Mike has also prosecuted various misdemeanors ranging from battery to retail theft, and hundreds of traffic cases, including driving with a suspended license and DUI. Mike has extensive experience handling numerous other felony cases ranging from violent crime offenses to white collar crime offenses. He is committed to helping his clients purchase and sell their homes, handling aspects of real estate closing ranging from contract review and negotiation all the way to the closing table.
